Saddle Clip

Saddle clips are the most commonly used type of grating anchor. These Saddle clips hold two bearing bars of grating and secure it with the base supporting structure using a suitable fastener. Saddle clip's simple design, easy installation ability & economical price makes it suitable for a wide range of steel bar gratings. We also provide slotted saddle clips when specified.

Assembly: Gratemetal manufactures saddle clips that suit a variety of bearing bar centers combined with fastening options like:

i. Self drilling screw/TEK screws (works normally with deep saddle clips) OR

ii. Nut, Washer & Bolt of suitable length as per the bar grating height.

Installation: The Saddle clip is easily installed by bridging it across two bearing bars & attaching it with Bolt, nut & washer when hole is pre-drilled through the flange of supporting steel work or with self drilling screw/TEK screw without pre-drilled hole. Saddle clips can also be used in conjunction with a variety of bottom clamps provided by us.
